Contact us for competitive pricing on your desired coin/s.

Rare Coins

We source authentic, PCGS or NGC-graded, rare coins with intrinsic value and collectibility. Contact us if you are searching for a rare coin that is not listed, we may be able to assist.

Raw Precious Metal (scrap, dore bars, flatware, silverware, dust, or fillings)

We purchase raw precious metal by the troy ounce. To sell to us, please ship the metals to our Texas refinery partner, and once assayed, you will receive your cash funds via wire, check, or digital form. There is a $50 assay fee per transaction, a 4% refining fee for greater than 50 troy ounces, and a 5% refining fee for less than 50 troy ounces.

Placing an Order

Place an order online, via phone, or by email and pay via Cash, Check, e-Check, Cryptocurrency, Credit Card, PayPal, Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, or Bank Wire Transfer (fees may apply depending on method of transfer). Prices are locked in once funds are received and cleared.

Orders usually take 3-7 business days from the day of order until delivery. Large orders can be expedited, are fully insured during shipment (USPS Registered Mail which covers precious metals based on value, or FedEx with third-party precious metal insurance), and require an adult signature upon delivery.

Some coins/bars may be ordered and prices locked in, but delivery may take as long as 15-30 days and possibly longer based on inventory levels at various US vaults.

We also purchase precious metals at competitive rates. To sell to us, email a list of your coins/bars with clear digital photos (obverse & reverse) to Sales@MarylandMetal.us. We will draft a tentative quote and explain how and where to securely ship them. Once your coins/bars are received at the vault, we will lock in your price. Funds will be available in 1-2 weeks.

Storage

Secure and insured storage options are available in the US and foreign vaults. We can guide you through the process of selecting and opening a vault account and shipping orders to that account.

Storage facilities/organizations include International Depository Services (Delaware, Texas, & Canada), Delaware Depository, Citadel Storage, TDS Vaults (Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Toronto, Zurich, & Singapore), CNT Depository (MA), The Texas Bullion Depository, SWP Cayman, New Zealand Vault, Brinks, Loomis, Malca-Amit, and Gold Bullion International (New York, Salt Lake City, Zurich, London, Sydney, and Singapore).

Customers have the option of having Maryland Metal manage and secure their precious metals portfolios and will receive periodic statements.

If stored at home, we recommend that you purchase a durable safe and insure your treasure through Hugh Wood Inc. or Collectibles Insurance Services.

We highly recommend that you insure the full value of your precious metals regardless of where they are stored. Most standard homeowners insurance policies do not cover bullion or rare coins sufficiently.

Customized Cryptocurrency Portfolios

We work with our clients on customized, diversified, and secure cryptocurrency portfolios. This market is highly volatile and entails numerous risks such as mistaken transfer addresses and high transfer fees. Our expertise is in finding value and minimizing costs.

We manage client accounts, but full ownership and access remains in the hands of our customers. Our reasonable fees only arise if profits are realized.

We focus on the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.
